Hordeum vulgare (Barley) Seed Flour

It is skin- refining and softening and is used in facial masks. Used for sores and tumors as a poultice. 


Medicinal uses of Barley were first mentioned in the Ebers papyri (c. 1550BC), in recipes for laxatives, expelling intestinal parasites, and poultices for burn and fractures. Barley was first mentioned in traditional Chinese medicine in the 16th century.
